THE LAW REVIEW AT JOHNS HOPKINS

SUBMISSIONS

The Law Review welcomes submissions of law-related articles, essays, book reviews, and interviews by all affiliates of the Johns Hopkins University.  The Law Review considers all submissions fairly, publishing those works which meet our Review's initiatives and standards, for online and print publication.

SUBMISSION FORMAT:

We strongly prefer that contributors submit their works through our electronic submission system, in Microsoft Word format.

CITATION FORMAT: Please submit contributions in the 20th edition Bluebook citation format.  Footnotes are preferred over endnotes and should also conform to the Bluebook citation style.

LENGTH REQUIREMENTS:

The Law Review prefers essays under 3,000 words in length and articles, book reviews, and interviews under 1,500 words in length.  Please note that these length limitations do not include footnotes.  Works over these amounts will be considered, but works that conform to the preset lengths will be given priority.
